Membership Meetings!
The next membership meeting will be held on August 10th at 7:30 p.m. in our regular meeting room downstairs. We are following CDC and State guidelines and ask that if you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask. If you are feeling ill or have any symptoms, please stay home!
Watermelon Shotgun Fun Shoot:
Was held on July 18th Keith managed to squeeze in the shoot between rain showers. Those who attended had a great time. Keith is planning to have more shotgun shoots over the next few months, watch for their announcement and come have some fun.
There were two real watermelons shot between rounds and they disintegrated magnificently👍
Please remember that the target stand for these shoots (which is located over by the skeet field) is not to practice on, it’s just for the shoots. All shotgun practice should be done on the indoor rifle range at a cardboard box placed on the floor.
Hatchet throwing targets are setup!
Ammo is still hard to find and the club isn’t seeing a lot of use. We set up the hatchet throwing targets to give member something to do. A $15 hatchet from Walmart is all you need to get started throwing. There seems to be quite a bit of interest in trying this. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will be setting up a new Hatchet throwing area and Targets. Keep your eyes open for this, it should be lots of fun!
