Fall Archery Hunting Lottery Permission is open to members only, and permits will be issued by random drawing in order to create equity among participants. You may hunt Deer, Turkey or both if you choose. Depending on the number of applicants, the hunting season may be broken into two parts to allow more permits and increase member opportunity. The Executive Committee has updated the rules and requirements to participate in this program and ensure the club stays in compliance with Connecticut DEEP laws and regulations. All State mandated hunting licensing requirements must be followed. Copies of those requirements and rules are on the website at the link below, as well as being posted on the bulletin board at the club. We now have rules and procedures documented in writing, so everyone will know what to expect, as well as what is required.
If you are interested in a fall Archery Deer & Wild Turkey Hunting Permit contact Nick Velseboer or Lynn Blackmer to have your name added to the lottery drawing (contact info on the committee’s page in the members only section) Please get your names in by July 31 to ensure you are added to this year’s drawing. All submitted names will be added and lottery winners will be drawn in early August. Lottery winners will be notified by August 11th to allow notice to pick up your permit and plan your hunt. The 2026 season starts September 15th!
